Last Thursday, we proudly celebrated the official opening of our U.S. division in Plattsburgh, New York, alongside a hundred esteemed guests. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Spacekap\u2019s history, strengthening our leadership and bringing us closer to our American customers. With Spacekap US, we\u2019re poised to serve the market more efficiently than ever!<\/p>\n\n

A warm welcome to Plattsburgh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Among the guests of honor was Garry Douglas, President of the North Country Chamber of Commerce, who highlighted the strong collaboration behind this expansion:\u00a0\u201cWe’ve been working with Spacekap since September 2024 to support their growth. With 50% of their sales coming from the United States, their arrival will allow even more Americans to experience their unique, high-quality product.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n

This U.S. expansion results from the vision and dedication of Frederic Chabanne, Frederic Albert, and Etienne Bouchard, the company\u2019s shareholders. Bringing this ambitious project to life took over a year of hard work. In his speech, Frederic Albert emphasized his team’s dedication: \u201cI want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to everyone who helped turn this vision into reality. Your belief in Spacekap and our mission has made this incredible milestone possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Numerous customers, partners, and friends were also present, including Jean-Francois Arcand, President of Arcand et Associes, a headhunting firm proudly partnering with Spacekap. He highlighted the strategic timing of this expansion: \u201cI’m here to support them; I\u2019ve worked on several mandates with Spacekap. Their decision to open a U.S. division, especially in the current tariff landscape, is spot on!\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The final word went to Michel Beaudry, a well-known Canadian radio host and columnist, who made it a point to be there for his friend Frederic Albert. \u201cI\u2019ve been a loyal customer for years\u2014Spacekap units have always been on my trucks. It\u2019s a unique product, and I have no doubt it will succeed in the U.S. It took courage to make this move in today\u2019s market, but it\u2019s the right one.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
